Since its creation Smiles for Life has raised over $40,000,000 for seriously ill, disabled and disadvantaged children. That's a staggering $2 million a year average, all thanks to participation from local communities and dental practices. Smiles for Life hopes to continue this tremendous pace for donations this year.
First and foremost we are a dental practice. Our patients are our family. We care about keeping smiles healthy but we wanted to do something more than that. Smiles for Life has allowed us the opportunity to help children in ways we never imagined.
Hendrick Children's Hospital, a Children's Miracle Network Hospital, serves 19 counties including Taylor, Callahan, Jones, Eastland, Nolan, Haskell, Shackelford and Stephens. In 2017 Hendrick Children's Hospital provided 24,983 patient visits. It is the only hospital from Fort Worth to Lubbock that meets the unique needs of treating children. The facility includes:
